The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire..........

Thursday, 30 November, 2006. We are having the overhang on the 11th Street side re-roofed. Weather:Snowy. The roofer is using a torch to heat the roof tar, fusing two sections together. Does it all the time, he says. The Owner is heading to his car and thinks to himself "I have a feeling this will not end well."
Sure enough.
